PGH Transit ("the Service") is a personal Pittsburgh transit dashboard operated by Rohun Joseph ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Questions? Contact rohun.joseph@gmail.com.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and/or mobile phone number, used to create and sign in to your account.
- Settings & favorites: the home stop, addresses, and favorite destinations you save, used to power the dashboard.
- Mobile phone number: if you choose phone sign-in, we collect your number solely to send one-time login/verification codes by SMS.
How we use your information
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To send one-time login/verification codes by SMS when you request them.
- To provide transit arrivals, ETAs, and the features you configure.
SMS / text messaging
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, or your consent to be contacted, with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used only to deliver the login/verification codes you request.
Message frequency: we send an SMS only when you request a login or verification code, so frequency depends on how often you sign in. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out of further messages at any time.
How your information is stored
Account data is stored using Supabase (our authentication and database provider) and protected by access controls. We retain your information for as long as your account is active.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any code message to stop receiving SMS.
- Remove your phone number from your account in Settings.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
